How would you like to become part of one of the biggest residential housing companies in the UK? This company with over 50 years experience in the market is looking to add an Architectural Technician to their ever growing production team. They are currently involved with multiple residential developments across the North East.|
In this role you will work below with the Senior Architectural Technician and Construction Director. Duties will include drafting site layouts, carrying out ArchiCAD drawing work, completing administrative tasks, working with current standards and regulations, and liaising with appropriate authorities when producing documentation for approval.
*Architectural Technologist (CIAT), or an Architectural Technician with 3 years experience.
*Good understanding of construction, site experience preferred.
*Excellent CAD skills (AutoCAD & Revit).
*Excellent oral and written English.
*Producing working drawings for technically challenging residential projects.
*Checking and approving supplier's information.
*Liaising with the NHBC to ensure compliance with current building regulations.
*Producing site specific technical details.
*Attending monthly site meetings.
*Liaising with external consultants and statutory bodies to ensure the provision of high quality drawings.
