Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a "hands-on" Project Controls Manager to be based in our San Luis de la Paz, Guanajuato location.
  • Guide and implement planning & scheduling, cost analysis and forecasting, progress measurement, earned value performance, change control, and risk management in accordance with the AECOM Project Controls program.
  • Collaborate with the home office in securing department support during mobilization and transition phases.
  • Assist in recruiting and supervision a local team of Project Controls professionals, including identification of work deliverables and assignment of responsibilities.
  • Assist in the solicitation, award and administration of local subcontractors, and implementing the corresponding Project Controls requirements tailored to each local subcontracts.
  • Compile and publish weekly and monthly status reports to the client and internal AECOM stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, business or related field, or demonstrated equivalent and related experience.
  • Entrants to this position require 10 years of experience with engineering, procurement and construction projects and operating industrial facilities.
  • 5 years of experience with cost, schedule and supervision responsibilities.
  • Some field experience required with 5 years preferred.
  • Demonstrated field experience in heavy industrial construction of chemical plants is required.
  • Construction management experience in dealing with local subcontractors is required
  • Knowledge of Primavera P6 is required.

Preferred Qualifications
• Fluency in written and spoken Spanish preferred.
• Project execution experience in Mexico preferred.
• Some knowledge of Prism G2 is preferred

  • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
  • This position is for an international assignment and will have a full expatriate package.
