My client is Worcster is currently in need of an experienced Manufacturing Engineer.

My client is a worldclass manufacturer and holds very strong position in numerous markets.

The role:
• Ensure on time delivery of new products; together with collaborating with Design and Development to establish robust, efficient and sustainable processes
• Setting up new and maintaining existing processes for a reliable, capable production
• Plan and implement industrialisation of new products and processes
• Responsibility for ensuring safe working methods and environment
• Create equipment and tooling specifications and standardise them
• Lead cross functional team in the justification and purchasing of capital equipment, tooling and new processes using structured methodology
• Generate and implement new working methods to continuously increase manufacturing productivity
• Conduct capability analysis for processes and maintain them such that all existing processes are capable according to company standards
• Lead continuous improvement process via shop floor based workshops with good associate empowerment for quality, cost and delivery performances

Ideal candidate specification:

• Be innovative and open to new ideas
• Excellent problem solving skills with a result oriented working style
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility in the sense of travelling to other company sites or suppliers
• You will be shop floor based
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Due to changes significant changes in the department the position will require strong commitment and dedication with some overtime required
• Minimum HNC in Engineering or Electrical

The salary for this position is £35k per annum, but includes 28 days holiday as well a pension scheme.
