To provide customers with all technical answers in relation to both Schueco systems and "building physics" questions. This will include undertaking static and thermal calculations explaining complex solutions to customer enquiries. In addition to produce high quality and cost-effective design proposals for customers, using Schueco UK Ltd products. |
Answer email and verbal technical queries, concerning standard system applications, from fabricators and UK employees.
Produce thermal and condensation prediction calculation, relating to UK systems, in accordance with the project requirements and building regulations.
Undertake preliminary static calculations, in accordance with methods and design principles.
Produce drawings and bespoke designs, to meet customer requirements. Design bespoke profiles and/or fittings to meet the demands of the customers &/or project requirements.
Review customers' general arrangement drawings, with respect to standard systems principles and recommendations.
Assess applications for oversize windows and doors, which are outside of standard recommendations and scope.
Attend, lead and contribute to customer meetings.
Use and fully understand software in the solution to the customer enquiries/issues.
Provide detailed solutions to customers within an agreed timescale.
Assist the Product manager in providing detailed technical information on all systems, relating to installation guides.
Assist customers with questions / enquires relating to associated aspects, standards, building regulations design issues (commonly known as 'building physics').
Essential Skills Proven customer service skills, including experience of dealing with face-to-face, email, and telephone enquiries from customers and taking ownership of enquiries from Schueco UK customers. The ability to express technical issues and explain complex solutions to customers both verbally and in writing. Proven relevant industry experience, including a clear understanding of the principles relating to the workings of window, door, curtain-walling and unitised systems. Highly proficient in CAD; specifically AutoCAD. Practical knowledge and experience of Revit and Inventor. Excellent team work skills. The ability to work individually and as part of a team within the department. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Work, PowerPoint and Excel). Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Knowledge about Schueco's products.
A working knowledge and understanding of BIM.
Lives within daily commuting distance of Milton Keynes.
Must have a clean and valid UK driving licence
