A dynamic and expanding Multi-Disciplinary Construction Consultancy based close to Liverpool Street are seeking an ambitious Project Manager to join them at an extremely exciting time for the company. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who has either recently passed their APC or is working towards it or has obtained/is on route to obtaining MAPM to progress their career within a supportive team.
The successful Project Manager will be joining an organisation at the forefront of the industry in disciplines including Project Management, Architectural Design, Cost Management and Building Surveying. Having managed to grow during the downturn, this Consultancy are now well placed to capitalise on their reputation, expanding client base and position in the industry.
The Project Manager will be part of a team dealing with a large retail development programme to deal with the 'Upfront' elements of the individual projects and acquisition support, taking them from initial Feasibility through to Procurement and Contractor appointment; working with the Clients Acquisition team, 2nd tier Consultants, legal and building up relationships with Client Team.
Projects range from fit out of pub conversions, developers shells, existing units, traditional buildings, petrol filling stations and mixed use developments.
You should be capable of working with the minimum supervision in all areas of Construction Project Management from a Consultant perspective.
The Project Manager will likely be around intermediate level with 3-6 years' experience but ambitious candidates with other levels of experience will be considered. A pure Project Management background or a Quantity Surveyor with Project Management experience seeking a PM role would be acceptable.
You will have:
Strong construction background, preferably within a professional organisation with or working towards RICS qualifications. A proven track record in this or similar fields. Strong communications skills, both verbal and written. General good IT literacy and ability to use most standard Microsoft packages. Feasibility experience desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
