The main purpose of the Assessor/Audit Team Manager is to assist the Head of Audit and Inspection in delivering directorate/team budgets through the management of Technical Assessors, analysing and reporting information and giving technical support when required.

The job holder will be expected to manage the day to day activities of up to 12 direct reports ensuring that they are working effectively and efficiently.

To be successful for this role you will have
- Significant construction experience including managerial experience of a technical team
- Management Systems auditing
- Management Systems Assessor Qualification
- Health and Safety relevant to inspection and auditing
- Manufacturing and installation process experience of construction related products and their application when on site
- Staff management skills including performance management and development
- Report writing skills
- Excellent communicator within the company and clients at all levels
