A leading designer and manufacturer of Engineered Timber Products in the UK seeks an experienced Estimator to join their South East division. Operating from eight sites around the UK, the past few years have seen this business steadily increase it's product range to include panels, spandrels, open web joists and Finn Forest Engineered Wood Products.
With two new branches recently opened in the South, this well established and ambitious employer plans to carry on growing and have no intention of slowing down.
We are looking for an ambitious, experienced Estimator to join their team based in Buckinghamshire who will work closely with the Merchant Team. It could be the perfect opportunity for someone with building experience to support their wide ranging customers with site measures and quotations. This is a fast-growing business who takes development of people seriously. As part thier investment in people, they will provide the training and tools needed to complete the role at the highest standard.
:: Maintain customer liaison and provide a knowledgeable technical service both from the branch and as part of site visits.
:: Interpret customer requirements and prepare appropriate quotations and provide any technical details that may be necessary.
:: Generate enquiries from new and existing customers, to follow up quotations and obtain orders on behalf of the Company.
Key requirements for the role:
:: Previous experience of working in a similar role, using Mitek or other engineered software.
:: Customer focussed with excellent customer service skills.
:: Well-organised and able to work unsupervised and prioritise tasks.
:: Experience of working in a multi-site environment (not essential)
:: Good communication skills both written and verbal, and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
:: Excellent PC skills including experience of MS Office.
:: Full driving licence and able to travel across the SE Region.
:: 30 days holiday per year, including Bank Holidays rising to 33 after 1 year's full service.
