How would you like to work for one of the largest residential contractors in the North East? This company with over 50 years experience in the market is looking to add a Commercial Assistant to their ever growing commercial team. They are currently involved with multiple residential developments across the North East.

Key Responsibilities:

*Liaising with internal and external customers

*Dealing with insurance claims from national customers, for example planning building works with policyholders and dealing with any queries.

*Ordering materials from suppliers and authorize their invoices for payment.

*Issue remittances and authenticated tax receipts once the BACS and CHAPS payments are complete.

*Make best use of knowledge management information systems. (Maximo, COINS.)

*Assist in the prompt preparation and settlement of final accounts, including variations, claims and disputes.

*Processing purchase orders and delivery notes for supplier payments

What we are looking for:

*Industry experience in the role is essential

*Excellent verbal communication skills

*Excellent level of numeracy skills

*Excellent influencing skills

*Excellent time management skills

*Ability to work under pressure

*Flexible and adaptable
