The role is a rare and exciting opportunity for a Security Architect (Technical Security Architect / Network Security Architect) where you will be working in a very complex environment, to which end, data from, not only our client's side but also their customers and also clinical personal sensitive data (PSD), all needs to be secure and able to interact in a sensible secure way that is business practical.
You will have proven experience of technical security architecture / design on various technologies like Firewalls, Intrusion prevention, Web/email filtering, Log management, SIEM and have had previous management responsibilities.
As a Technical Security Architect / Network Security Architect you will be responsible for recommending security tools and platforms, as well as technical and process controls in order to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of company data.
As a Technical Security Architect / Network Security Architect you will lead all phases of enterprise level security information technology projects, including planning, research, and analysis and testing. You will also take responsibility for leading the evaluation of security services provided by competing vendors and make suitable recommendations to senior management. You will need to be someone who is able to work independently, exercising you're your own judgement, methods and techniques for obtaining results.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Expert knowledge of technical security technologies and platforms.
IT security technologies and platforms demonstrated expertise of network, operating systems, programming, cloud, telecommunication in a IT security technologies and platforms context.
Strong logic and problem solving skills.
Ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
Advanced level of skill in tools used for analysis and presentation of data.
Client focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives on both strategic and tactical levels.
Proven Managerial experience.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification or IT Security Certifications
You must have:-
Previous proven in depth experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job - comparable to 12+ years' in
IT security systems - in addition to training in advanced applications,
5 years' experience in network security
and / or IT security systems project management
