Denmark's famed reputation for being one of the happiest countries in the world is often accredited to high-levels of social mobility which is a feature reflected in this job opportunity - the chance to progress and grow in the organisation is yours to take. |
Due to continuing growth our client is looking for to hire an individual on a permanent basis within Operations & Change. You will be operating as Project Manager with within business change and whilst this role will have an involvement with the technical delivery teams it's a business focussed PM role rather than an IT focussed PM position. Because of this you'll need a solid background in the banking sector and will need to be able to grasp complex projects and understand the sector, the business and the products. Any exposure you have in Corporate Actions, Reconciliations or Settlements projects is a big benefit to the client.
Key to this role will be the link you facilitate between various business stakeholders utilising strong project control methods to ensure a clear view and control over where things are in the specific lifecycle. You'll need to be comfortable (and want to be) in a fast paced environment with frequent change as the business introduces more agile ways of working. You will also have great communication skills and an ability work independently and in a team, you will be exposed to high-profile projects from the outset so an eagerness to be challenged is also valued but equally as important will be your ability to learn new skills and progress within the company.
Beneficial to your employer would be any background you may have in business analysis and additional knowledge of Securities (Equities and Fixed Income) and Derivatives (CFDs, Futures and Options) or FX margin trading will only bolster your suitability for the role.
On offer is a great salary and bonus package and assisted relocation costs which will vary depending on your experience. Please note that working hours in Denmark are not as vigorous as in the UK so strong time management is needed and you will have to take this into account when working on your projects.
