An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workforce Planning Analyst to work within Central Government on a contract basis. The position will be based in Shrivenham for an initial contract until April 2017 offering up to a maximum of £340 per day LTD.

Due to the nature of the client, candidates with a current SC Clearance are highly desiarable.

Key Tasks:

The focus of this role is to lead on the development of Digital and Technology skills as part of the broader programme of work to build and mature Information Skills across Defence. This role provides an exciting opportunity to shape Digital and broader Information skills as a key enabler to pan-Defence business, and to become involved in a range of activities aimed at taking forward the Information Professionals whole force approach.

Translate business information strategy in to plans for developing Information skills pan-Defence

Support the development of professional standards and functional competences for future business needs

Define and implement Digital role profiles with required, skills, competences and training identified

Support the development and implementation of the Digital competence framework and career pathways

Identify Learning and Development interventions and support development of the Information training Compendium

Analysis of work force MI to support the creation of Information capability plans

Drive behavioural change through the sharing of best practice across MOD and Government via the Information Professions governance framework, online communities of practice and relevant X-Government focus groups..

Engage and work with accrediting bodies to maximise membership across the Information Professionals community

Experience Required:

SFIA 2.2.5 -Org Design & Dev.

Enthusiastic tech-savvy individual with knowledge and experience of key developments in a constantly changing Digital industry and interest in developing digital skills in MOD
