Our managed services team are based from our offices in St Ives and our data centre facilities in Huntingdon and Northampton and provides a focused range of hosted and cloud services through our extensive portfolio, specifically designed to help customers align their IT functions to their core business requirements.
The Technical Account Manager Opportunity:
We are now recruiting for a Technical Account Manager based from our offices in St Ives. You will be working as part of a small handpicked team, you'll partner with our customers by developing a working knowledge of their goals, technical challenges and infrastructure configurations to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Whilst this role is not a "hands on" technical role it does mean working closely and carefully to understand customer issues at hand, and working with the customer and operational teams to continually improve customer environments and delivered services.
As a market leader in our field with extensive qualifications and support from our business partners we aim to go from strength to strength towards a brighter future to further strengthen our position as a Managed Services provider.

Technical Account Manager Skills and Experience:
> HP Proliant DL and Blade Servers.
> An understanding of Storage Area Networks and storage devices.
> An understanding of Windows 2003 and 2008, 2012, VMware, Hyper-V and Linux (RHEL & deriv.)
> Knowledge of Back up process and rotations.
> Cisco and HP switching and routing.
> Networking possibilities including Firewalls, WAN (MPLS and P2P), VPN, LAN, OTV, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, DNS and load balancing.
> DR and failover for systems and solutions.
> Understanding of monitoring technologies.
> Excellent communication skills - oral and written, with the confidence to communicate effectively at all levels.
Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire
Hours: Full Time 8.30am to 5.00pm / Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 Basic + Benefits (Depending on experience & skills)
Start date: ASAP
Other: Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
Must have own transport to get between sites and current driving license.
