Modern Workplace Value Realisation Specialist (aka Junior Technology Specialist)|

We are looking for a junior technology specialist to join the Central Marketing Organization (CMO) to lead on post-sales value realisation in key enterprise accounts for Office 365 and Surface. The CMO is a newly merged field marketing team with a wider marketing remit, which includes both Commercial and Consumer accountability and marketing excellence. The CMO team is responsible for bringing the modern marketing vision to life in each Area/Sub, providing the commercial leadership and accountability we need to deliver connected sales and marketing as a reality for each and every team. The CMO creates a strong centre of gravity that bridges the work we do with segments and the focus we have on landing Global Demand Centres. The CMO also plans and executes consumer marketing campaigns and programs, embracing our modern marketing principles.
We are looking for a candidate to work with some of our key customers in ensuring that when they buy our Office 365 / Windows software and / or our Surface that they fully utilise what it can do so that they remain loyal customers and look to re-purchase / upgrade with us as our new technology comes out.
We would be open to previous backgrounds but ideally an IT training background would be good or a Sales or IT background.
We need someone who is not going to be afraid of presenting our products to large groups of people
We need someone with IT familiarity and ideally someone with experience of B2B customers.
The role will require travel to customer sites in the South & Central UK travel expenses will be covered.
This role will be responsible for evangelizing Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions with particular focus on Office 365 and Surface offerings to enterprise customers, during post-sale customer site activities, relating Microsoft technology to customer solutions by role and industry. This includes influencing key customer stakeholders and end users to drive deployment and adoption of Office 365 to help our customers realise the value of their investment, and transform their productivity as a result of cloud and modern device adoption. This also includes influencing the end users of customers who have included Surface on their Device catalogues to make Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book the preferred choice for their chosen work device, driving increased volume of Surface from within existing customers.
Successful candidates will have great leadership skills, strong passion for driving business results, great communication and consultative selling skills, exhibit outstanding collaboration skills, are sincerely customer focused, and deal well with ambiguity.
They possess excellent presentation skills as well as in-depth technical and business value knowledge of Microsoft and competitive technologies.
Candidates should possess an excellent understanding of Office 365, Azure Identity and the Surface family, along with the familiarity of offerings from key competitors.
