Our client, a successful fire protection company based in Camberley, is looking to expand its team by recruiting a FIRE ALARM SERVICE AND INSTALL ENGINEER to carry out surveys, designs, installs on fire alarms and emergency lighting.|
This is a fantastic opportunity for a good 'all-rounder' with survey and design experience to join a fast-growing, customer-focused company with a view to career progression to a management position in time!
So what could a normal day consist of?
- Planned small/medium works, surveys, quotes and design of small to medium installations of fire alarms and emergency lighting
- Across a range of open-protocol fire alarm systems
- Field-based, mainly covering Surrey & London & occasional other locations
- Covering out of hours emergency call-outs on a rota basis (shift/call out allowance offered)
- Flexible hours may be available
There may be Lead Engineer opportunities on some installs and the successful candidate would be in charge of the team of engineers and liaising with clients to ensure the install runs smoothly.
Geographically, this role will predominantly cover Surrey and London with the occasional trip further afield. Candidates must be prepared to cover emergency out of hours call outs on a rota basis.
I like it, tell me more!
Our client is in the process of developing a highly professional, streamlined organisation as well as working towards BAFE accreditation to help it achieve big growth ambitions in the next few years. It enjoyed strong growth last year and is on track to achieve even stronger growth this year.
They have an excellent reputation for customer service and for treating its customers fairly. To protect this reputation, the business asks its field team to focus on doing the right thing for the customer and delivering the highest standard of work.
There are no sales targets for engineers as our client believes this distracts the field team from the most important thing - making sure that customers are left happy!
