An industry leading Renewable Energy company who are currently expanding their network of plants currently require the services of an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to support maintenance of their Bedfordshire based Plant on an initial 2 month contract.
The successful maintenance Fitter will be responsible for leading the planned and reactive maintenance of machinery, conveyors, pumps, valves, pipework etc, deputising for the Plant Manager when required, and look into ways to continuously improve the Health and Safety, operating standard of the plant and getting involved in all site operations.
The maintenance Fitter will also assist the site manager in preparing planned maintenance schedules, oversee the operation of the site, hands on in processing,
Suitable candidates will hold suitable engineering qualifications in either mechanical / electrical or instrumentation. You should possess demonstrable experience of working at a process site / waste management / Food / FMCG facility in a similar capacity.
The position will involve call out and some weekend work on rota.
