They are currently looking for an Electrician to work on a static site in Abingdon.
The Job role / Purpose is to carry out Planned Maintenance (PPMs), Reactive Repairs, Installations & Projects.
Planned Preventative Maintenance in adherence to set HVAC engineering standards and in accordance with the Health & Safety standards
Electrical installation works up to 415volts, 3phase, supporting specific engineering projects.
Respond to Reactive Works to include all Electrical and minor fabric issues.
Electrical installations within commercial office premises including ring mains and lighting circuits.
Correct and timely completion of paperwork and test certificates according to company policy and procedure.
Provide engineering condition reports and quotations.
Fault finding on electrical control circuits.
Demonstrate competence in all areas of your primary trade (with valid certification) Essential qualifications: minimum City & Guilds 236 parts 1 & 2. City & Guilds 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
A good understanding of electrical control principles with the ability to read drawings and identify key control components, interlocks and protection devices.
Proficient in the installation of SWA and mineral cables.
Ability to complete basic electrical insulation & earth loop tests as required by the NICIEC accreditation.
Reasonable understanding and a proactive approach to the following other trade skills: General fitting.
Delivery of service excellence with good customer interface skills
Other skills that would be advantageous:
Understanding the principals of refrigeration, including, maintenance regimes, fault finding & environmental requirements.
Experience of working on: boiler plant, water systems, associated equipment and controls.
C&G 2391 Electrical Inspection & Testing certificate.
