Excellent opportunity to join a large well-known ICP business that is winning tens of millions of £'s of work within the multi-utilities sector throughout the UK
A very large UK ICP business, with multiple offices and depots all over the country. This company has interests in power transmission and distribution. They have full NERS accreditation, are one of the top 100 fastest growing companies in the UK, and have an excellent reputation in their market. Their business has grown rapidly, going from 40 employees to over 180 in 4 years (purely down to organic growth). They have won a series of large contracts over the past several years and now require Project Managers to help them on their path to success. The business has enjoyed a turnover of over £40M in the last financial year which has exceeded their growth forecast by over £3M. They are opening a new office in the North West to help manage the project pipeline for that region and have plans to open other offices in the coming year.
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager from an M&E background who would like to explore other opportunities within the electrical market. They are offering full training and development, turning you into a fully-fledged Project Manager within the booming power transmission and distribution sector. You will be the primary representative of your projects, responsible for the successful execution/delivery of the site works safely, on time, within budget and to the high quality required. Project values range from £100,000 to over £1M.
Reporting directly into the Senior Construction Manager.
Take personal responsibility for the successful delivery of projects on site.
Ensuring the Health and Safety of the Site is paramount.
Responsible for the teams on site.
Managing; plant, labour, materials, toolbox talks, auditing, etc.
Financial reporting of projects.
Project Management experience within an electrically bias M&E role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent man-management skills.
Client facing experience.
Experience with LV/HV cabling, risers, switchgear, etc.
Previous experience liaising with the DNO (UKPN)
Management of multiple sites.
Experience of managing jointers and commissioning engineers.
£40k - £45K basic salary
Company Vehicle (Mondeo, insignia, etc.) + Fuel card.
