About the role
To ensure disposal routes for Trade effluent are in accordance with Statutory Duty within a geographical area. To provide front line protection for company assets and reputation from risks associated with commercial waste and unauthorised discharges. Assist in the collection of data and trade effluent samples to enable billing and control of customers within a geographical area.
Provide front line assistance working with Infra and Non-Infra Waste teams to protect the assets and reputation of the company from pollution incidents arising from non domestic discharges into foul or surface sewer systems. Undertake risk assessments of non domestic customer sites to ensure compliance with trade effluent permits and charging conditions.
The successful candidate will have a degree in a scientific or environmental discipline and have the experience of the practical application of environmental legislation relating to networks, trade effluent and customer. Effective communication skills will be needed to communicate at all levels with a practical understanding of waste water pollution prevention and control.
Working as part of a high performing team you will have the confidence to challenge the norm with a basic understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
