A dedicated and flexible Electrical Controls Engineer is required for one of the leading suppliers of automated machinery for the food & beverage sector.|
Working within a team of determined engineers you will complete projects from concept to commissioning. Duties will include:
Designing control systems, developing logic for PLC - Allen Bradley ControlLogix & Siemens S7 TIA Portal
Designing screen and programming for HMI/SCADA - Wonderware, iFIX
Ideally will have knowledge of CAD - AutoCAD preferred
Working on machine vision software (Sick & Keyence)
Experienced in the design of motor drive circuits, safety circuits and network systems, you will undertake project management of machinery installations and have autonomy for technically challenging projects. Flexibility to travel worldwide is essential for this role.
The ideal Control Systems Engineer will have excellent knowledge of Allen Bradley & Siemens controllers, however if you have experience of only one, Allen Bradley is preferred. You can expect to spend roughly 6 months of the year travelling to complete the machinery installations. Food/packaging machinery background would be highly advantageous however other industrial automation will be considered.
In return you can expect a salary of £30k to £45K depending on experience along with an excellent benefits package and the opportunity to work for an innovative market leader.
