WSP|Parsons Brinckerhoff is in need of a assistant rail and transit engineer to support a variety of projects. The candidate will become a member of our growing rail and transit group based in Chicago. This is a good opportunity to work on a variety of transit, passenger rail, and freight rail projects including feasibility studies, preliminary and final engineering, signal design, and intercity/high-speed/commuter rail programs. A key area of responsibility will be coordination of design and support documentation for intercity rail, high speed rail, and transit engineering initiatives. Field work will be involved. The candidate must be capable of applying diversified knowledge of standard engineering/planning and rail/transit industry-specific principles and practices. Candidate must have an interest in transit or rail projects.
Major Duties :
Bachelor's degree in engineering required. Ability to work in this country immediately required. Local candidates only.
