As an Electrician with Carillion, you must:Maintain your electrical licences in good standingBe competent, knowledgeable and experienced with respect to all electrical work to be performedMaintain a Level II Advanced Training Certification as a Traffic Signal Technician from the International Municipal Signal NA your Driver's license(s) in good standing enabling you to operate assigned electrical aerial trucks as well as maintain your current Radial Boom Derrick LicenseHold valid certifications related to First Aid and WHMIS, as well as be knowledgeable with regulations under the Province's OH&S Safety Acts, MTO's Traffic Control Manual (Book 7 - Temporary Conditions).Be knowledgeable with all current MTO electrical specifications, inspection procedures and documentation procedures, as well as all Ontario Government specifications and regulations relating to electrical NA required to provide Carillion from time to time, or upon renewal, copies of your electrical qualifications as follows:Electrician Construction and Maintenance License dated June 29, 2013 Trade Certificate #400266723Radial Boom Derrick License dated July 13, 2009170 Basic Course, MTO Traffic Signals170 Advanced Course, MTO Traffic Signals dated February 2009International Municipal Signal Association, Level 1 and 2, Traffic Signal Technician dated January 2009Electrical Utilities Safety Association of Ontario, Cable Locating Course Dated August 2009 Your responsibilities as an Electrician will include:Organizing and carrying out all assigned routine/non-routine electrical services within Bancroft AMC 2012-15 under the direction of the Electrical Supervisor and SuperintendentPreparing and executing electrical maintenance operations involving electrical devices/systems within the Bancroft AMC NA required electrical maintenance documents, including Traffic Signal repair and Communication Logs and Maintenance and Inspection NA and managing assigned non-routine electrical services as per the Electrical Supervisor's NA or carrying out detailed inspections of electrical facilities usually undertaken in late summer or early fall including preparations of an Annual Report of Defects, to be completed no later than November 1st each year as outlined in PERF NA to work with patrol staff when requested in performing highway electrical maintenance and emergency assignments in a manner that promotes cost effective operations, staff co-operation and safe working and environmental conditions at all NA helpful, friendly and courteous at all times to members of the general public, property owners, members of Public Agencies, Ministry of Transportation staff and officials, NA to be "On-Call"Other Duties as assigned
