College graduate or equivalent trade experience suggested. 3-5 years automotive manufacturing experience a plus. >Previous customer direct interface with positive outcome >Previous program management experience >Previous process related / tooling history beneficial >CAD experience preferred >Problem Solving-objectively collect data to draw conclusions and make recommendations should issues arise >MS Office Training Requirements >TS16949 >Lean Manufacturing >Six Sigma > Blueprint / GD&T >APQP Process Skill Requirements >Self motivated to have the ability to work a schedule that allows completion of the job on a daily basis. >Will posses the organizational skills necessary to maintain company records in compliance with the Sales/Marketing Departments and QS 9000 / TS16949 procedures. >Microcomputer (PC) knowledge and experience acquired through an Assoc. Degree or a minimum of 4 years on the job experience. >Demonstrated strong leadership qualities. >Demonstrate a "hands on" approach promoting teamwork >Should be profit oriented >Should be an experienced negotiator 1. Principle Duties and/or Responsibilities >Manage program from cradle to grave >Ensure Package from Sales team is complete at handoff to Engineering team >Champion NASG Plant Feasibility >Champion all customer specific requirments and distrubute to the appropriate teams for completion >Responsible to implement New program binders/folders >Track and Maintain Cost of Sales to Meet Budget > Create and distribute Project timelines to NASG,Customer and Supplier teams > Create and distribute New Launch Trial Request > Set project timing in APQP >Create and maintain Customer/NASG Open Issues List >Single point of contact for non-commercial issues during Program Launch >Technical Resource at customer meetings as required >Champion Customer/NASG Open Issues Review/Schedule Meetings >Evaluate Project timelines/status weekly and escalate accordingly >Champion NASG Internal APQP for Product of responsibility >Champion early Customer part Requirements >Champion shipment of New Launch Tooling to NASG Production Facility if applicable >Champion Pre-Production Planning Process I.E. Internal Runoff, Run at Rate, PPAP >Ensure PPAP approval is obtained in a timely manner >Verify Production Readiness and Ensure seamless transition between Advanced Quality/Tooling to Production >Work as part of customer team to resolve production or quality related issues >Participate on A.I. team >Other duties as assigned by Manager 2.
