Job Description:

As a key member of the Wajax team, the Field Service Supervisor - Material Handling is responsible for ensuring all customer calls for service are addressed in a timely and effective manner. The incumbent will supervise available manpower and resources to maximize productivity and efficiency in order that adequate staffing and resource levels are available to address current and future service needs. The Service Supervisor will also conduct daily field visits to oversee and enforce worker compliance to health and safety policies and procedures and to provide customer support, ensuring satisfaction and resolving customer needs and issues as they arise. Position RequirementsYour Responsibilities:• Oversees the overall operation of the service department including budgets, staffing, profit and loss and preparation of various month-end reports.• Provides leadership, motivation, and direction to the department.• Plans, assigns, and directs work in the service department, assists in managing the department scheduling of work hours including daily hours, time off and vacation time to maintain appropriate department coverage.• Collaborates with the customer service support team to maintain and monitor work orders• Works collaboratively with supplier representative to resolve all technical issues• Monitors job deficiencies and institutes necessary changes• Manages and measures productivity for customer NA Skills and Qualifications:• 2-4 years of relevant work experience in Supervisor/ Leadership role.• Qualified technician or Journeyman is an asset.• Previous experience in the automotive, truck or mobile equipment service industry considered an asset.• Skilled trade certification considered an asset.• Previous supervision and leadership experience is considered an asset.• Experience in maintenance, repair and overhaul operations.• Solid written and verbal communication skills.• Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office.• Proven ability to work effectively with customers and/or NA join Wajax?Wajax offers an engaging, stimulating, and rewarding workplace.
