Overview: NA is focused on staffing intermediate, senior and executive positions within growing technology companies, engineering firms and manufacturing operations. This IT Technology Company is growing by leaps and bounds and has an international presence. They are seeking a new member for their pre-sales team that will work closely with the sales team, existing clients and prospective clients. You will be focused on pre-sales activities around Architecting Virtualization Solutions using their existing products, cloud based and virtual solutions. Responsibilities: Working closely with 1-2 members of sales team and channel partners, you will play a key role in evaluating prospective business opportunities and the creation of winning technical proposals. Define customer technical requirements and craft a solution utilizing the company's products. Provide product demonstrations and present & defend technical proposals. Interact with technical staff at customers, prospective clients and sales partners in Eastern and Central North America. You will be working with clients and prospects in the Eastern and Central time zones. Respond to prospective customer inquiries over the phone and via email. Provide technical product training, focused on educating prospective clients during the trial phase. Participate in tradeshows and speaking engagements. Work with the support team to incorporate support and service levels agreements into proposals. You will undertake training on all of the company's products and solutions. You will also research competitive products to aid in developing winning proposals. Participate in ongoing training in current virtualization technologies and strategies. Skill Requirements and Experience Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related work experience Project Management experience Minimum of 5 - 7 years technical work experience with implementing IT Infrastructure or IT Managed Services Minimum of 3 years work experience Architecting Virtualization Solutions is required, 5-7 is prefered. Must have minimum of 2-3 years Pre-Sales experience including; demos, gathering technical requirements, crafting technical solutions and proposals Must have excellent English Communication skills; verbal, written and presentations Must have solid IP networking experience Experience with SalesForce or an equivalent CRM Up to 25% travel will be required in Eastern and Central North America Assets would include: PMP certification would be very desirable. Any Virtualization Certification would be very desirable. PCoIP experience is strongly desired. Any public speaking would be an asset, but not required.
