As an integral part of the senior management team, as Sales Director you will assume responsibility for driving and maximising machine sales across the UK delivering an ambitious growth agenda.
You will be responsible for the development and delivery of a progressive sales strategy designed to achieve increased market presence and penetration.
You will take leadership of the sales and marketing team, improving performance, productivity and acumen, whilst remaining highly visible to existing and prospective customers.
You will be responsible for the delivery of product and business growth through the use of campaigns, promotions and marketing tools.
You will have the self assurance, ability and confidence to visit customer operational sites to identify opportunities to promote the wider organisation.
What we are looking for:
An established track record of sales leadership and marketing management including knowledge of the construction equipment market and / or the commercial vehicles / asset sector.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, combined with the ability to introduce robust and effective sales processes and systems, able to deliver a step change in sales performance and customer service.
The gravitas to effectively represent the company at a senior level across a diverse customer base to develop and maintain excellent relationships to achieve sales targets.
The ability to drive energy through the sales team with a 'can do' attitude and positively enhance performance to deliver results.
