PIPEFITTER (CRAFTSMAN) REQUIRED - PERMANENT - DUDLEY, WEST MIDLANDS - £24-27k per year|
AndersElite are recruiting for a Pipefitter at Craftsman level for a well-established and successful building services company based in the Dudley area.
This is a permanent role, working as a pipefitter on various sites around the West Midlands and surrounding counties, installing industrial and commercial pipework and associated components and systems, typically on projects such as schools, hospitals, offices and community buildings.
In order to apply for this position, candidates must possess NVQ Level 3 in Heating & Ventilation Installation, or equivalent City & Guilds certification. It is also important for applicants to have a keen attitude and willingness to learn, with long term career development an aim.
This position is available immediately, although applicants required to serve notice periods with their existing employer are welcomed.
This position offers a salary based on Building Engineering Services Association rates, for 37.5 hours per week working. Salary, depending on experience and Craftsman grading, between £24,000 to £27,500 per annum.
In addition the company also offers an excellent benefits package, including 23 days per year paid holiday, plus 8 days bank holiday, paid sick leave, death in service cover and an excellent pension scheme.
Additional training in welding, gas and supervision will be provided, in order for the new employee to develop professionally and be promoted through an established development pathway into higher salary bandings in the medium term. This will involve promotion to Senior Craftsman and Foreman roles.
