An exciting opportunity has arisen to work wit a large and expanding company that specialise in the Fit Out side of construction. Our who focuses on projects in the Yorkshire region, are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager who can help cater for and grow their large client base that spans across a large amount of sectors of construction.

The client specialises in leading Interior Design & Build Fit Out in all sectors (Office / Hotel & Leisure / Education / Healthcare)

The successful candidate will have an understanding of construction/joinery activities and a general overview of mechanical and electrical installations.

The role will involve receiving the won tender pack from our estimating department, proceeding to procure materials and labour, then to manage and co-ordinate all activities taking the project to a successful completion and a snag free handover.

Your duties will also involve tight financial management of variations and account tracking during the programme of works.

The successful candidate must have a good understanding of construction site health & safety to ensure all works are delivered safely.

Knowledge of the high expectation associated with quality interior fit-out works is essential, as is a full appreciation of the commercial influences that emulate from fast track projects of a distinctly bespoke nature.

You will be working as part of an experienced team to develop your already existing skills. Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally, are key to this role as is the ability to develop and nurture relationships. It is expected that you will be comfortable controlling and managing a varied pre / post contract work load from a demanding industry.
