£50,000 - £60,000 (Based on experience) + Car allowance + Bonus
This role is Home based with extensive client site travel required.
My client is a leading independent provider of Unified Communications, Contact Centre, Voice, Mobile and Data solutions. With more than 20 years' experience, they specialise in combining technologies from leading vendors and carriers with the skills of their experts to provide complete end to-end solutions to clients.
The Solution Specialist's primary role is to take responsibility for the overall high level design of customer solutions and provide a trusted advisor relationship to key accounts. It is vital for the Solution Specialist to retain ownership of the solution design during the customer engagement phase working alongside the account manager to finalise the customer proposal.
A thorough, Unified Communication and Collaboration, Microsoft Lync and business application knowledge is required. Multi-vendor product knowledge is desirable in order to offer a true "Trusted Advisor" consultancy service. A high Microsoft Visio and Office suite competency is also essential. Track record of working closely with potential customers to determine how the solution is best scoped and deployed in cost effective manner.
An advanced understanding of the following technology area is required:
* At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Lync or Skype for Business (hosted and On-Premise)
* Migrations from legacy Microsoft LCS/OCS environments
* Strong design experience of Microsoft Active Directory, SQL, Exchange and Office 365
* Virtualisation, experience with VMware/Hyper-V systems and software
* Cloud delivery models
