Channel Account Manager

General Description of role
Deliver value to the business through effective management of assigned channel accounts

Job Responsibilities
• Delivery of your sales targets through maximising revenue opportunities for all assigned accounts
• Manage a number of assigned accounts providing a single point of contact and overview of the account internally and externally
• Ensure an excellent understanding of the industries in which your assigned accounts operate and the relevant key stakeholders
• Work with the team to influence the short and long term strategies for sales growth, sharing customer needs / wants
• Ensure each assigned account has a tailored development plan to improve registration and renewal performance
• Gain an excellent understanding of our customers' problems and work with them to meet their requirements
• Deliver market intelligence and insight as the basis for giving advice and identifying trends
• Develop and continually sustain excellent working relationships with all assigned accounts at all levels

• Works effectively as 'part of the Company team', communicates positively at all levels both internally and externally
• Works effectively as part of a department team, recognises areas where support is required and offers assistance
• Is flexible and adaptable in approach

• Delivery of sales performance
• Maintain high customer satisfaction levels and issue resolution standards for assigned accounts
• Build excellent, trusted and productive customer relationships
• Drive account engagement in and adoption of Nominet commercial, technical and operational initiatives
• Effectively represent registrar views and the Channel function internally
• Work seamlessly with colleagues to meet or exceed departmental objectives and targets
• Work with other departments to meet company objectives

Professional skills, background and profile
• Strong sales experience
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
• A track record of working to and meeting objectives
• Flexible and professional attitude and ability to influence people at various levels internally and externally
• Demonstrated ability to absorb and convey commercial and technical information
• Confident in discussing technical and operational issues and aware of their impact on commercials
• Full drivers licence required, and ability to undertake UK and international travel
• Computer literate
