Support Engineer, Systems Administrator, Windows Server, Exchange, AD|
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Support Engineer or Systems Administrator to help shape the direction and service of my client's IT department, during an exciting period of growth for the company
Reporting directly to the IT Manager in a varied and highly-visible role, the Support Engineer / Systems Administrator will provide a true support service to approximately 150 users internationally, covering 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support, together with server and network administration and varied and challenging project work.
This position would suit an enthusiastic Support Engineer or Systems Administrator who doesn't want to provide just front line support, nor just systems administration, but seeks the variety and challenge and interest of both. You'll need to be able to juggle and prioritise support requests and issues as they come through and will recognise the importance of providing clear and reassuring communication to users!
What do I need?
Technically, the successful Support Engineer / Systems Administrator will need to be comfortable in a varied, Microsoft environment, an environment that comprises:
• Windows Server 2012
• Exchange (2008 R2)
• Active Directory
• Windows 7, 8 & 10
• Mac OS X
• SQL Server
• Microsoft IIS
Whilst you won't be expected to have deep experience in every area, a broad background and technical knowledge base coupled with the desire and ability to pick up new technologies will be required.
I want to do that!
This is a rare opportunity for a commercially-astute Support Engineer / Systems Administrator to join an internationally-recognised client in an innovative environment that supports personal and professional growth and progression. If you have any questions or would simply welcome a chat about this excellent position and company, just call me or drop me an email, as I'd love to hear from you! If, though, you think this role could be right for you and you'd like to learn more, then please apply now!
