The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a team to achieve and exceed sales quotas. There is a requirement to build strong relationships with new and existing customers in order to achieve sales quotas and develop new prospects. This role will require communication via multiple channels in order to develop a detailed knowledge of organisations and their challenges.


Motivate and coach a team to achieve sales quotas
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls/emails, social media, networking and regular communication with the existing customer base
Research accounts/prospects to identify structure, practices, challenges and requirements
Conduct high quality, open business conversations with senior business decision makers
Understand customer needs and requirements
Understand the TA product offering and pricing model
Work closely with the Marketing function to complete sales projects such as implementing proposals and campaigns
Identify and action high risk customers to ensure prompt follow up and retention of the account
Maintain SalesForce records of contacts, activities and sales potential to enable accurate reporting and forecasting
Attend appropriate conferences and events to build and establish network and profile

Requirements and the individual

Strong experience of working in an Inside Sales role. Ideally this experience will have been within a leading HR or software/services organisation
Experience of managing or supervising a team
Outstanding verbal, written and Interpersonal communication skills
Evidence of B2B sales to Fortune 500 companies across sectors (e.g Banking/Finance, Telecommunications, Manufacturing Pharmaceuticals/Petrochemical, Transport, Retail, Utilities & Public sector)
Familiarity with pricing and forecasting
Exposure to managing and evaluating financial metrics and reacting to this type of data
Clear evidence of being successfully target driven
Evidence of effective utilisation of Customer Relationship Management systems
