This world-leading international group supplying technology services to a wide range of global clients across many countries including household-name multinationals and public-sector bodies - require an Project Manager / Business Analyst to be based in their Leeds offices.|
Due to the ongoing expansion of their IT department now require an experienced Programme Manager / Change Business Analyst to support the technology programme and change team in providing the key function of business and technical analysis whilst supporting the development process (SCRUM) and utilising project management disciplines to deliver successful technology solutions.
Responsible for business analysis activities on projects and programmes of all sizes.
Support the delivery of client and business facing technology solutions as well as infrastructure projects
Providing support to the developers, testers, technology managers and architects, in the definition of technical solutions.
Defining overall requirements (user Stories); providing breakdowns of these requirements in a document which can be followed in order to create suitable software.
Working with stakeholders within the business and external client stakeholders where relevant to elicit, capture, analyse, refine and communicate / document their requirements.
Perform software investigation, analyse and deliver outcomes to the team and stakeholders across the business, offering suggestions and evaluating alternatives.
Manage functional requirement gathering, documentation and execution using Agile Project Management tools.
Support product demos and acceptance testing with end users and stakeholders.
Following testing and implementation of technology projects, producing the technical support documentation that can be used by product support teams.
Ensure consistent programme and change process is applied to all technology projects.
Ensure that projects have accurate and current project governance documentation including;
Scope and deliverables of a project
Milestone delivery plans
Project highlight reports
Risk and action logs
Project budget management
Escalate critical risks and other significant project blockers.
Support and track all projects until they have transitioned into Business as Usual (BAU).
Performing the day to day Agile (SCRUM) process with the development and test teams.
Monitor tasks that are reliant on stakeholders to deliver to ensure responsibilities are tracked and updated.
Be the central point of contact for assigned projects enabling stakeholders to address their questions with one single contact.
Support the other Programme and Change team members as an intermediary point of contact, as and when cover is required.
Provide budget numbers to support monitoring of Return of Investment (ROI) of projects.
Successful applicants will have the following skills:
Ability to work closely with developers and testers on complex applications.
Familiarity with key software technologies; C#. (url removed), MVC, SOA
Knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of full software development lifecycle
Business and Systems analysis experience
Strong analytical/ problem solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong Microsoft Office Skills
Experience of coordinating multiple projects
Excellent organisation and time management
Industry specific qualifications such as Project Management (PRINCE 2), PMP, SCRUM certification
Degree in Computing
Target Process experience (Agile Tool)
