Are you a Design & Development Engineer from a Polymers/Plastics Manufacturing background looking to work with a Tier 1 Japanese Automotive business who supply into Nissan, Honda & JLR?
Are you looking to take the technical lead on specialist projects for a global Japanese company?
On offer is a technical role where you will be the go to engineer on projects. This is an exciting time to join this company as they have just won major contracts.
On offer is a role where you will take responsibility to coordinate and support local design and development activities to bring new vehicle products into production.
You will also be tasked with creating and maintaining both 3D CAD data and 2D drawings of new and existing parts using Catia V5.
This company are happy to assist with any re-location costs if you do not live in the North East.
This business are a progressive, international company who supply into businesses such as Nissan, JLR and Honda. This organisation are heavily involved in development and training and have a multi-million pound turnover.
You will be working within the design & development team and will have strong customer facing skills with an emphasis on providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders and customers.
This position would suit a Design & Development Engineer from a Polymers/Plastics Manufacturing background looking to work with a Tier 1 Japanese Automotive business, training and personal development.
* To lead, coordinate and support local design and development activities to bring new vehicle products into production.
* To create and maintain and both 3D CAD data and 2D drawings of new and existing parts using Catia V5.
* To liaise with parent Japanese companies via Video Conference, email and presentations.
* To plan, track and report Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) of new projects and design changes.
* Design & Development background
* Injection Mould and/or Plastics background
* 3D CAD experience
