An opportunity has arisen for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with one of the UK's leading suppliers of industrial spares, components and MRO services.|
Holding contracts with many of the UK's premier manufacturing businesses, my client services the MRO needs in some of the most highly-regarded and world-class manufacturing and distribution environments in the UK.
As the successful Maintenance Engineer, your role will be mostly hands-off, predominantly responsible for managing and structuring an on-site stores facility, ensuring that the BOM and stores are planned and structured in advance to meet OEE and maintenance requirements. You will work closely with maintenance teams to assess and ensure the reliability and maintained OEE of large volume of fully automated manufacturing equipment. You will use your knowledge of automated machinery to assess what components and spares will be required to maintain production and reliability. You will use your knowledge of industrial and manufacturing environments to advise on and plan a complex Bill of materials.
The role is based across 11 manufacturing sites across the UK and Ireland. You will work on projects of between 3 and 6 months in length, so extended travel and stays away will be required. Travel and accommodation costs are covered within the package.
As the successful Maintenance Engineer you are likely to have significant experience in;
* Significant experience within industrial and engineering environments
* Industrial consumables and the MRO market
* A background maintenance, TPM, or reliability engineering is essential
* The creation or developing of bill of materials or bill of requirements
