Studio Architectural Designer / Technician - Architectural Practice (Burton on Trent)
Full-time, permanent position, Hours 9.00am - 5.30pm Salary £30-£35K
We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a progressive, architectural design practice based in Burton on Trent, specialising in Residential, Commercial and high-end domestic projects.
Combining creative flair with extensive knowledge of the latest products to create imaginative schemes for their clients. Being part of this company allows the teams to put their stamp on the built environment whilst offering personal development within a supportive and team orientated environment.
Since its formation over 14 years ago , they continue to provide award winning schemes and bespoke designs for both individual and large-scale developments. During this time, they have gained a reputation for schemes that are both imaginative and highly commercial. Offering a full range of architectural services and, with associate consultants, have expert advice at hand.
They are now looking to expand their team and are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced person who requires a new challenge.
We are looking for an ambitious architectural designer / technician who is seeking to be challenged in their technical and design skills - and in their management skills in running projects. The role would particularly suit someone who is seeking the opportunity for both creative freedom and to play his or her part in growing an ambitious business.

The following would also be an asset:
* Be qualified to a minimum HNC/HND level
* Have at least 5 years experience including experience of working on residential projects
* Master planning skills
* Experience in AutoCAD 2010 - necessary
* Experience in Revit (preferable) or Archicad skills
* Experience in Sketchup - preferable
* Experience in Photoshop - preferable
* Good knowledge of the Planning and Building Regulations process
* Have excellent communication and inter-personal skills, dealing with people at all levels
* Team player who can also work on own initiative
* Good organisational skills
* Commercial awareness
* Attention to detail
