They are looking to recruit an experienced Generator Engineer to join their organisation with a successful track record within the industry
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
•Hands on maintenance, installation, service and repair to a varied range of diesel driven generating sets, diesel generator control systems and associated equipment.
•Working at site locations across the Midlands
•Subject to security vetting procedure .
•Carry out fault diagnosis and carry out forward planning on assigned work/projects.
•Ensure a high level of productivity in work assigned.
•Ensure that all actions compliant with the quality standards, health and safety standards and Company standards.
•Approach situations with a responsible, tenacious and accountable attitude
•Ensure all identified problems and causes for concern are reported to Service Manager immediately and recorded.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
•Essential Qualifications: City & Guilds Tech Part 2, BTEC ONC, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent. Where an operative can, subject to confirmation, demonstrate exceptional practical skills and demonstrates the abilities necessary, the formal qualifications set out above may be varied.
•Essential Skills: Time served Practical, engineering skills Proven ability and aptitude as Diesel/Electrical Engineer so as to be able to carry out service work without supervision in the most efficient and economical manner
