Special purpose machinery manufacturer
Due to continued expansion, an opportunity exists for a Technical Sales Assistant, to support the Sales function in producing complex technical specifications, and dealing with customers' enquiries. The ability to understand customer requirements, and translate for the Design and Technical Sales teams is essential, to enable them to put together complex proposal. Fluency in French or German is essential, and a key requirement as part of the technical team and its continued expansion programme.
This opportunity may suite a graduate Engineer with Chemistry, Physics or Science background. Fluency in French and/or German is key, to support the increasing demand across Europe. As part of the Technical team you will be liaising with clients over the telephone and email, and translating the detail to produce technical specifications, working as part of the technical team. This is an opportunity which will allow an enthusiastic candidate to develop and become a technical specialist in their own right, further down the line. Training will be provided, and as the position expands there will be the opportunity to undertake UK and overseas travel, as part of your continued development.
The minimum salary for this role is £22K. However, the client may pay up to £24K for a candidate who can meet all key requirements and abilities. Benefits include 21 days holiday bank holidays, and contributory pension scheme.
