£30,000-£35,000 dependant on skills
My client is an earth-loving company that brings you a wonderful celebration in foods, ranging from spices and herbs to pulses, grains, nuts and seeds. An integral part of an international company spanning continents, Natco has 50 years' experience in the forests, fields and farms selecting rain fed and sun kissed ingredients required for flavoursome and healthy meals.
They now have an opportunity for an additional Engineering Technician to join the team.
You will perform multi-skilled activities on machinery and equipment between electrical, electronic, mechanical and refurbishment work including breakdown, planned preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis. You will ensure that all work carried out, is in line with current Codes of Practice and you will take ownership of specific improvement jobs and projects, seeing them through to successful completion. You will also ensure that safe working practises are maintained in accordance with health and Safety guidelines and take part in risk assessments.
The successful candidate will have served a City and Guilds 3 year engineering apprenticeship, along with holding a 17th Edition electrical qualification. Additionally, you will need to have experience in packing, blending, mixing and process manufacturing processes along with experience of PLC. You will be proficient in Word, Excel and AX/ERP systems. Experience in the food industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
The hours of work are 40 per week - Tuesday to Saturday. You will be required to work previously agreed, alternating hours between 6am and 10pm
