Vice President - San Francisco, CA
WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, an award-winning and innovative multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm, is looking for an experienced professional engineer to fill the role of Vice President for the Plumbing and Fire Protection Department in our San Francisco, CA Office. WSP works closely with architects and owners from around the world on large, complex projects with a focus on sustainability and energy performance of the built environment.

About the Job

Our Engineers work on high quality, high-profile, national and international projects. You will actively participate in the full project cycle, from the design phase through the final construction close-out. You will organize in-house resources, develop project proposals and budgets, mentor junior staff, prepare technical reports/specifications, and contribute to the overall business development of the company.

Responsibilities include:
      • Act as Project Manager for a variety of project types.
      • Directly interfacing with clients regarding all project related issues.
      • Build and maintaining a network of client relationships.
      • Participate in internal marketing meetings to coordinate business development activities.

Job Requirements
      • 10-15+ years' experience in progressively responsible roles in a multi-office Building Services engineering firm.
      • A track record of successful management of large-scale projects with appropriate references.
      • Demonstrates extensive knowledge and a strongly developed understanding of practice area, client's businesses, competitors, and the industry at large.
      • Maintains strong relationships with clients and external professional and industry groups.
      • Successful business development experience.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Proven track record of team building and executive leadership
      • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering.
      • PE License is required, LEED Certification is preferred.
