WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff has an immediate opening in Denver, Colorado for a Senior Supervising Water Resource Engineer. This position is an opportunity to work on complex water resources and water/wastewater utility projects driven by current regulatory and environmental issues. Projects may include watershed assessment and analysis; municipal water system design, stream assessment and restoration design; H&H analyses, river engineering and modeling, wetlands and water quality monitoring.

Position Description:
      • Serve as task or project manager on multi-discipline teams on a variety of stormwater and water resource projects
      • Support product delivery and provide technical direction and mentorship to project-level staff
      • Support business development activities to expand the firm's water business presence in Colorado Area

Job Requirements
Education Required:
      • Bachelors degree (Masters Degree preferred) in civil, water resources or environmental engineering/science, or a closely related field
Experience/Skills Required:
      • Minimum 15 years' of experience in civil engineering, water resources, environmental engineering, hydrology, or related fields
      • Appropriate professional certification
      • Expertise and/or working knowledge of the following:
          • Watershed assessment and analysis
          • Stormwater Quality Design
          • H&H modeling and analysis skills such as TR-55, TR-20, HEC-RAS
          • Project management
          • Preparation of specifications and cost estimates
      • Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Strong technical skills
      • Strong client relationships preferably in the Colorado area (Colorado Springs and Denver)
Desired Qualifications:
      • PE is preferred but not required.
      • Affiliations with professional societies and active industry and community involvement are highly desirable

The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.
