WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff has an immediate opening it its Denver, Colorado office for a Supervising Engineer to support its stormwater management, surface drainage and flood control practices. The candidate will be responsible for civil design tasks in stormwater management and drainage conveyance systems, flood control and risk mitigation and pipe habilitation.

Position Description
      • Provide task and project management for stormwater and utility projects. The design work will include studies, concept designs, preliminary, final engineering plan production, calculations, cost estimates, specifications, and other engineering related duties
      • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic studies and design
      • Perform water and sewer modeling studies and design
      • Be a technical leader in business development and client relationship building activities

Job Requirements
Education Required:
      • Bachelors of Science degree in civil engineering
      • PE is preferred but not required.
Experience/Skills Required:
      • Minimum of 10 years' experience in civil engineering, including project management experience
      • Project design experience in the following areas:
          • Hydrologic and hydraulic design of stormwater systems, including water quality treatment and flood control facilities
          • Water distribution and conveyance systems
          • Sanitary sewer conveyance systems
      • Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Ability to work cooperatively, and proactively with other disciplines within the company
Desired Qualifications:
      • Affiliations with professional societies and active industry and community involvement are highly desirable

The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.
