Electric Boat is preparing to execute a test program for the Integrated Propulsion System (IPS) for OHIO Replacement, which will be performed at the Compatibility Test Facility (CTF). CTF Test Engineers will draw upon their nuclear submarine operational experience and/or shipyard test experience to develop technical documentation in support of the IPS test program, support direction of testing at CTF, and analyze and troubleshoot issues during the test program. CTF Test Engineers require task management skills to plan the coordination and direction of diverse test evolutions and troubleshooting efforts. |
Test Engineers must possess demonstrated knowledge in the areas of power generation, electronic and controls and/or power distribution systems operation. Frequent interface with Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), BMPC and NAVSEA is required. Occasional travel is required and the opportunity for extended work assignment (EWA) during testing at CTF is available.
