Location: Silvertown, London
Hours: 8.30 - 5.00pm
Days: Monday - Friday
Length of assignment: Temp - Perm
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Support Pallet Controller to produce pallets/pallecons and k rolls supply from weekly production plan and call forward from suppliers.
*Support Pallet Controller to check production coverage against daily empty pallet count and adjust intake to ensure sufficient but minimum pallet holding allowing for production changes.
*Charge Customers for pallet losses.
*Contact customers to facilitate return of pallets and pallecons.
*Input pallet movements onto CHEP Portfolio asset management system
*Reconcile CHEP invoice, raise queries and resolve issues.
*Monitor pallets sent to repair agent and call back into usage when required.
*Pass invoices for repairs & collections.
*Overview local pallet management at outside depots checking correct issue / return (ex Culina)
*Compile data for month end cost estimates.
*Maintain accurate records of pallecon hiring and de-hiring dates by customer to ensure costs are minimised and worst offending customers are clearly identified.
*Provide delivery and collection information to CHEP to assist in the tracking and recovery of pallecons
*Deal with all general pallet/pallecon queries.
CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES):
*Numerate and literate to GCSE standard.
*Negotiations skills with suppliers and Hauliers
*IT literate, specifically Excel
*Speed and accuracy with data input
*Good working knowledge of SAP
*Good written and verbal communication skills
*Good team player
*Resourceful and can work on own initiative
*Understanding of internal and external customer needs
