My client is an innovative, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, who are currently on the look-out for a driven and dedicated Graduate Mechanical Engineer with immense talent to become part of their team on a staff basis, based local in the West Yorkshire region.|
My client undertakes work in most areas of low to medium projects which are niche to what other consultancies can do. Their specialist knowledge and expertise is within (but not limited to): Utilities, Nuclear, Transport, energy, power, environment, buildings and property.
It is now an exciting time for the business as they are rapidly growing global consultancy, who are looking for someone to work on a variety of complex projects with dual skilled chartered engineers. The work is a mixture of site based and office based engineering, including the full breadth of engineering process, including design and its execution as well as on site problem resolution, improvements and dealing with enquiries and ad-hoc issues.
You will quickly have invaluable exposure to new engineering approaches, gaining invaluable experience and be nurtured into more challenging work as the role develops.
This will be an exciting and challenging role for the right candidate. You will be working on projects not just for the UK but internationally, gaining niche skill-sets within the mechanical design and operations arena. This will be an exciting role for someone who likes a new challenge daily and fresh work to work on.
** A degree in mechanical engineering with some work experience gained (you may be a graduate who has worked on a placement scheme, or equally someone with 1-2 years mechanical engineering experience at graduate level)
** An interest and/or experience in utilities (water/wastewater)
** An eagerness to learn and develop
** A positive and outspoken attitude and hard work ethic
** Live in the West Yorkshire area, commutable to the Leeds area
