The Payroll Department in Cork is responsible for the timely and accurate pay of wages across Europe Middle East and Africa. The team has grown significantly over the last year and we currently run the payrolls for 24 entities paying over 6,000 employees, and this is continuously expanding.
Payroll work closely with all areas of the Finance department, as well as Human Resources and other faculties and departments within the company.

This role would show that the individual has what it takes for a career in Finance/Payroll giving the individual experience in an environment with high volumes of data and stringent deadlines. Gain hands on experience with the Microsoft Office suite.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the administration of payroll processing
  • Ensuring that all queries are dealt with in a timely fashion.
  • Distribution of payroll reports
  • Customer Service, dealing with employees directly and problem solving
  • Gather Data for Audits

Job Requirements:

  • Degree level candidate in Finance/Accounting/Commerce/Economics
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the proven ability to maintain accuracy at all times
  • Strong planning and organising skills; the proven ability to multi-task with a focus on achieving results
  • Excellent communication skills and high standards of written and spoken English
  • Strong team working skills with the ability to also work independently with some guidance
  • Excellent keyboard skills – intermediate or advanced experience of Excel would be a distinct advantage
