About the Business Line
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.

Job Summary
  • Environmental Compliance Specialist (m/f)
  • The job holder will be placed at one of our client's location in Rheinland-Pfalz and will support the Environmental Management Department concerning different issues
  • Conducting of Environmental Performance Assessment Systems (EPAS) Audits
  • Conducting compliance inspections concerning hazardous materials and wastes & Hazardous Material Management
  • Management of the environmental quality assurance system, writing of audit/inspection reports, preparation and editing of Standard Operation Procedures (SOP)
  • Management of the environmental management system and ensuring requirements are met (ISO 14001)
  • Editing of environmental impact statements
  • Implementation of various control initiatives
  • Conduction of trainings about different environmental topics, e.g. pollution prevention

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelors degree in Environmental, Civil, Project Management or Natural Science
  • Experience in environmental management and in the fields described in the job description
  • Experience in working with US Army and knowledge of EMS, EPAS, ISO 14001 and AR200-1 requirements
  • Knowledge of Host Nation's (German) and US environmental regulations
  • Good Knowledge of MS-Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Good organizational skills and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Fluent in English and German

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in working with US Army and knowledge of EMS, EPAS, ISO 14001 and AR200-1 requirements
