About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. Job Summary
AECOM has an excitiong opportuntiy for a Program Management Support Specialist 4 on our NGA contract in Springdield, VA. This position under limited supervision applying comprehensive program knowledge and subject matter expertise, provides program advisory support including detailed, comprehensive analysis interpreting technical and programmic elements to prepare routine and non-routine correspondence and documentation, program presentations and briefings, and program management reports.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Interface with internal functional teams and external customers for planning, prioritization, and issue resolution of overall activities in the support of and achievement of customer goals.
  • Create and maintain master files/schedules related to program history, execution and status for the life of the program (inception to disposal).
  • Review, evaluate and provide assessments of technical and non-technical program reports; research specific areas and prepare findings.
  • Interact and support customers, through the application of specific program knowledge, in the execution of program management tasks.
  • Coordinate and maintain program documentation with internal and external teams including plans, schedules, briefings, reports correspondence, contracts/contract modifications, technical instructions/procedures and/or related material.
  • Prepare routine and non-routine program correspondence, documentation and reports.
  • Interface with internal and external program participants to coordinate overall activities to support customer goals.
  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field and 8 years of job related experience on projects of similar size and scope or equivalent.
  • At least five years of experience with Microsoft Project required.
  • Good written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
  • Position may require travel.
  • Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Experience with Auto-Cad preferred.
