Job Description:

As an integral member of the administrative team of the Alpine Building Maintenance Service Administrator provides administrative and organizational support essential to the operation of the company. Service Administrator provides administrative support and report directly to the supervising manager. Highly organized and detail orientated, the ideal candidate has strong computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office applications. You are a team player with the proven ability to set priorities and meet deadlines while working accurately and diplomatically under pressure. You possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the demonstrated ability to work with clients. As a life-long learner, you will demonstrate a commitment to actively developing your knowledge and skills. Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to create and produce a wide variety of reports and correspondence such as confidential reports, letters, memos, and e-mails, dealing with matters such as grievances, labour relations, negotiating strategy, legal, and budget matters; Collect, research, record, compile, analyze and prepare information for various confidential reports, such as grievances and benefit analysis; Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, take and distribute minutes/notes of meetings including any follow-up action required; Monitor and maintain budgets for the respective divisions within the departments; Provide support to the Supervisor as required; Provide leadership in fostering equity and inclusiveness in the development and implementation of programs and services; and Perform other duties, as assigned. Qualifications: Legally entitled to work in Canada Completion of post-secondary education (degree, diploma, certificate required) A minimum of 3 years previous administrative or executive assistant experience Previous experience in a fast-paced, professional work environment Previous experience in a school environment is an asset with preference given to independent school experience Previous contact management/database experience an asset Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Knowledgeable in the use of Google applications including Google Drive and Gmail. A high degree of accuracy in database information entry and retrieval Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative working style Proven ability to exercise tact, discretion and good judgment when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters Flexible, ability to adapt well to change and prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment High level of professionalism, with an ability to work effectively with minimal supervision when required Ability to work evenings and weekends on occasion Employment and Application Details: We offer competitive compensation and following benefits - medical insurance,dental insurance, paid vacations, sick leave, and maternity leave.
