About the role
The Community Manager will play a vital role in overseeing multiple levels of operations at our community. We are seeking a passionate, confident, and highly personable applicant with exceptional leadership skills to inspire our community staff and ensure efficiency in daily operations. Our communities are highly dynamic environments, so our Community Managers must demonstrate an ability to adapt and work under pressure. At Balfour Beatty, our goal is to continuously improve our communities. As a result, we encourage our Community Managers to consistently interact with our residents, become involved in the community outside of work, and use creativity to further enhance the community for residents and Balfour Beatty employees, alike.

What you'll be doing
  • Managing daily community operations and facilitating clear communication between community staff and residents.
  • Implementing training and development of employees.
  • Promoting Balfour Beatty's Ten Global Golden Rules of Safety across all aspects of operations.
  • Overseeing financial reporting.
  • Fostering relationships with residents through consistent involvement and presence.
  • Maintaining excellent customer service across the community.  

Who we're looking for
Bachelor's degree preferred plus five (5) years of supervisory experience in property management or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Must possess or be willing to obtain either the Accredited Residential Manager (Institute of Real Estate Management) or Certified Apartment Manager (Building Owners and Management Association) designation within one (1) year of hire.

Possession of a valid state issued Drivers License and safe driving record is required.
