A family run Commissioning Contractor with over 25 years in the industry is currently looking to grow their team by bringing on a Water Treatment Engineer. They have successful grown over the last 18 months working with some top blue-chip clients. You will be mostly site based in London with occasional visits to their office in Essex. They are on of the Leading building services validations, testing and commissioning companies in the South-East.|
As a Water Treatment Engineer (Pre-Commissioning) you will need a working knowledge of biocide washing, chemical cleaning and flushing to BSRIA standards, dosing inhibitors and biocides. You will need to have experience of obtaining water flushing velocities and proportional balancing when required. It is essential that you have practical experience of taking water samples using the correct method, ensuring they get to the lab in a correct and timely manner, and to generate water quality logs and summary reports in a timely manner.
To be successful in the role as a Water Treatment Engineer (Pre-Commissioning) you will need to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and have proven hands on skills. You will need to be personable, have good customer relation skills as you will be the direct face of the company to their clients. You must be willing to travel generally within 100 mile radius, on occasions further where staying away is required, this will be in the UK, Monday to Friday. You must be efficient and organised in your work, be computer literate particularly with word and excel, familiarity with mac's would be beneficial. It is essential that you have a UK Driving Licence and CSCS Card.
